Phyre vom Patiala (call name Embrr, Emmy) DOB 01.26.10 (health - accomplishments) was purchased from Ajay Singh of Zwinger vom Patiala after I decided to retire Mercury from the sport of Schutzhund. Ajay and I discussed what I was looking for in my next dog and what my priorities and concerns were. When I decided to buy another puppy, I had only one thought - Javir vom Talka Marda. I had seen him compete at the 2008 WUSV (World Schutzhund Championships) and was wowed by his performance. I knew that Javir's litter mate Jilnannah vom Talka Marda was just about to whelp a litter. Since Ajay was in California (closer than Germany), and I had read about this famous litter's genetics, I was very excited to purchase one of these pups. Ajay picked the right female out of the litter and I got exactly what I wanted.
Embrr's dam Jilnannah is from the world famous J-litter vom Talka Marda that produced Javir (4 times BSP finishing 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 18th, 3 times WUSV finishing 11th, 3rd and 4th, and two times Universal Seiger), John (5 times BSP), Jenna (1 times BSP), Jimbeam, Jarek (South African Nationals), and Justin (working police dog PSH2). Jilnannah successfully competed at the USA Nationals and tied for the highest scoring female in the protection phase (90). In Emmy's 5 generation pedigree (62 dogs) only 8 have less than SchH 3 or IPO 3 (all have SchH/IPO titles) and 29 have FH titles (advanced tracking).
Embrr's sire is Aro von der kleinen Birke - the breeding was recommended by Horst and Michaela Knoche of vom Talka Marda as they had bred him to Quaste (mother of the J litter). Aro is very quick, has very good fighting drive and a very good work ethic. Javir had been bred to some of his daughters and Horst and Michaela felt that they were stable and good in breeding. Aro is a normal sable colour, short, firm and straight back with very firm limbs. Aro takes more of his mother's type than his fathers and is very good in breeding.
Emmy is a HOT dog - Handler Owned and Trained by myself since the age of 8 weeks. It takes a village to Schutzhund/CKC train a dog and I would like to thank everyone whose help and guidance have enabled Emmy & I to achieve so much. Emmy is probably the most titled German Shepherd Dog in Canada having both her IPO 3 and OTCh along with titles in CKC Tracking, AKC Obedience & Rally Obedience and Scent Detection.
Description: Embrr is average sized (60lbs - 26.5kg, 56cm - 22") compact, solid built female. She is an extremely stable, clear headed dog with an incredible on/off switch - she calms down or amps up into drive with little effort. She has huge ball drive, nice food drive and learns very quickly. She is a dog that loves to please and needs little correction. Protection comes naturally and control on the field has never been an issue. Emmy is a wonderful companion and house dog. She loves to play, loves to swim (jumping into the river at 9 weeks old), has no issues with surfaces, noises, people or situations. The results of her various health testing can be found here. She is also free from allergies, ear & skin issues and does not have a sensitive digestive system.
Coat: Emmy is a short standard coat, bi-colour. She carries black & tan as her recessive colour gene.
Her breed survey reads as follows:
Small Medium Strong, stretched, good expression, normal withers, good top line, slightly short and slightly steep croup, good angulation in the front and back end. Good chest proportions, correct front, straight gait in back, front gait is toe reached, good pace distance, powerful efficient rear drive, front reach could be more free. Good confidence and temperament. TSB Pronounced, releases.
